Just his second release ever, ‘Serotonin’ is a hugely impressive cut from 18-year-old Tycho Jones. There is a distinct vulnerability in the tone of the track, but it comes layered in refreshing, cool beats and futuristic vibes that only a young composer can access. There are poetic elements to his lyrical style, with a background growing up in London coming through in both what he says, and how he says it. His absorption of indie culture in the UK saw him craft the sound he presents in this track. But the diverse culture of his neighbourhood also works its way into his sound.
